J.G. Regnier, LADAC
(pronounced rain-your) is in private practice with Counseling & Psychology Services in Little Rock, AR and has been in the substance abuse field treating co-occurring disorders since 1988.
Regnier specializes in children and family counseling and provides training/consultation in Motivational Interviewing, serves as a clinical supervisor, and program consultant. He served two terms as Vice-President of the AR Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (AAADAC) and was appointed to serve on the Arkansas Alcohol & Drug Abuse Coordinating Council for an unprecedented three consecutive terms. He has been training others in Motivational Interviewing since 1999 and was trained as a trainer in Motivational Interviewing Assessment: Supervisory Tools for Enhancing Proficiency (MIA:STEP) in 2008. He will obtain the second highest trainer credential at the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) at Atlanta, Georgia in October of 2014.

Regnier has been performing DOT/SAP Assessments and follow ups to determine when toreturn operators back to safety sensitive duty since 2002.
Use of Modern Essential Oils
Since September of 2013 Regnier has been using modern essential oils to help himself and his clients with everything from mood management to smoking cessation. He has found the use of essential oils to be highly beneficial in assisting clients with the pain associated with opiate withdrawal.
